Our ethos is symbolized by the oak tree and its acorn.
The tough shell of the acorn represents the little people who come to our nursery—each containing the potential to grow into something wonderful.
Just like a great oak, Little Acorns is the tree of life that welcomes, shelters and sustains our vibrant community. It grounds us, connecting our children to their roots, helping them grow and flourish.
An Inclusive Community
We are committed to being an inclusive nursery. Little Acorn caters to a high number of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), supported by our dedicated SEND team.
Our Story
Little Acorns Day Nursery was established to meet the growing need for high-quality childcare in the Peterborough area.

We renovated an existing building, transforming it into a safe and stimulating environment that encourages independence in young children.
​
The refurbishment was completed in November 2023. In the same month, we obtained the OFSTED accreditation and the nursery opened its doors to its first little residents. Visit our Facilities page to find out more.
