Government Funding

Little Acorns is a registered provider of government Free Early Education Entitlements.

We are committed to helping families access financial support for childcare, including government schemes and other employer incentives.

The Entitlements Offered at Little Acorns:

  • 2 Year Old Free Entitlement (subject to eligibility)

  • 3 and 4 year old Universal Free Entitlement

  • 30 Hours Free Childcare Entitlement (subject to eligibility)

The NEG (Nursery Education Grant) funding provides up to 15 or 30 hours per week of free childcare for children aged 9 months, 2, 3 or 4 years old (subject to eligibility criteria) until they reach compulsory school age.

We offer a limited number of standalone 15 and 30 hour places. Please contact us for up-to-date information on availability and eligibility requirements.

How to Apply for Funding

Register on the Child Care Choices website: childcarechoices.gov.uk

Once you have your eligibility code, bring it to us, and we will handle the rest of the process for you.
 

Nursery Costs Excluded from NEG

Please note that government grant (NEG) does not cover:

​

  • Meals and Snacks: Freshly prepared on-site each day by our dedicated chef.

​

  • Consumables: Such as sun cream, toothbrushes, and toothpaste.

​

  • Extra Services: This includes trips and extra-curricular activities, our increased staff ratios and use of the Famly app.
